Marissa Webb

I absolutely love that Marissa Webb, the former head of womenswear at J.Crew is now designing her own line. I would wear every single piece! You can totally see J.Crew in her designs but in my opinion they're a little bit edgier, which I like. Her designs will hit stores spring of 2013 -- I can't wait!

  1. May or may not have an extremely similar post coming up. I was in love with each and every piece. Don't even get me started on the teal sequins.

  6. Oooh.. I hadn't seen her collection yet. You can totally see a little j. Crew in the tailoring. Dying over those leather pants. I'm surprised about how many leather pants I've seen for spring so far. I could never wear them in Dallas in the spring time though. That would be torture! Xox

  9. These looks are all incredible! And you're right, you can definitely see the J.Crew influence, but I much prefer this less preppy spin. I had no idea Marissa Webb left to go out on her own so I'm so glad I now know to keep an eye out for this collection! The blue-printed skirt is going on my wishlist as is that leather skirt. Tulle underneath leather? Genius.

  16. I was waiting for her collection once I heard that it was coming out, and it definitely did not disappoint. I wonder what the price point will be, because I would love to have some of her pieces in my closet!
