I've found some common themes in the kitchen inspiration photos I've been saving: lots of light, a cool pendant or two, and lots of open shelving. I love Ikea's super affordable floating shelves {don't they look fab in Erin's kitchen}? And these lucite shelves would be a good option to get the look of the last photo.

Now you got me dreaming about this kitchen too! It's perfect. My kitchen won't look like that BUT I am definitely getting the floating shelves from Ikea when we re do our floors and counters.
