It's been chillier than usual the past few days, so on Saturday we spent the day at The Getty Center. It was such a fun day; it's an amazing museum and it has the prettiest view of the city.

What a great way to spend a day! Beautiful paintings. Wish we had more art museumes here.

ReplyDeletemy boyfriend and i spent a day there during the summer and it is by far one of my most favorite museums.
ReplyDeletenever mind the art (which is incredible) just the architecture of the place is swoon-worthy.
Oh my goodness! What a lovely weekend! I used to live about 30 minutes away from the Getty Center and have always wanted to visit... but sadly, never got the chance to!

The Getty is such a fun place to go! I remember going there as a little girl!! Geez, I seem old! not really!

ReplyDeleteSara-- They're Sperry's, and I got them on Piperlime. They're also available at J. Crew, but they're a little more expensive there. They are seriously the best and so comfy!

ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to the Getty Center. I lived in L.A. for a summer, but got lost the first time I tried to go. The second time it was OUTRAGEOUSLY crowded. I'm dying for a trip to L.A. soon so I can finally go!

ReplyDeleteLA looks so pretty from those pictures! I love spending an afternoon at a museum. Earlier this month I went to the MoMA in SF and they had a really adorable wine exhibit!
ReplyDeleteI've lived here in LA for about 4 years and STILL never been to the Getty Center! Sad, I know. I have however been to the Getty Villa up in Malibu and highly recommend it!
